Past Coaching Success

DAN PRICEShortly after completing the 2005-06 season as an Assistant Coach to Ryan Hilderman’s Bantam ‘AAA’ Royals Gold team, I accepted a position as an Assistant Coach with the Chilliwack Bruins of the WHL. I spent two years in that capacity and one year as the team’s Associate Coach before accepting the Head Coach and General Manager’s position with the Drumheller Dragons in the AJHL. During my time with Chilliwack I also served as an Assistant Coach for Team Pacific at the 2009 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge, where our Team took home a silver medal. My time with the Royals was extremely valuable. I have relied – and still do rely – on the people who mentored me during that season, most notably Ryan Hilderman and Mark Maloney. The experience I gained in the areas of skill development, practice planning and Team logistics has been invaluable and has played a large role in allowing me to move on to the WHL and AJHL.
